It is with deep respect and heavy hearts that we honor the life and legacy of Wayne Martin Jeveli, our esteemed CEO, colleague, and friend. Wayne’s leadership, vision, and character shaped SHELLBACK Semiconductor Technology into the company it is today—and his impact will continue to guide us into the future.

Wayne brought a lifetime of experience, service, and passion to every role he held. A graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he began his career as a Special Operations Officer in the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve, where he led elite bomb disposal teams with extraordinary skill and courage. His military service was defined by honor, precision, and unwavering commitment to the mission—values he carried with him throughout his life.

After completing his military service, Wayne transitioned into the private sector, where his technical acumen and strategic mindset quickly distinguished him as a leader. As CEO of SHELLBACK Semiconductor Technology, Wayne was instrumental in the company’s transformation. Under his leadership, SHELLBACK grew from a small capital equipment business into a global organization with operations in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He drove significant revenue growth—through bold innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric strategies.

Wayne’s vision extended beyond numbers. He championed a culture of excellence, transparency, and teamwork, believing that great outcomes were built on strong people and shared purpose. He mentored emerging leaders, empowered engineers, and treated every team member with respect. His presence was steady, humble, and inspiring. He asked hard questions, gave thoughtful answers, and led by example.

Outside of his professional achievements, Wayne was deeply devoted to his family and their shared commitment to making a difference. For many years, he proudly supported his wife’s extraordinary work with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—standing alongside her in efforts to raise awareness, drive research, and provide care and resources to families affected by MS. Wayne championed the cause with quiet dedication, lending his time, energy, and heart to a mission close to home. Together, they made a lasting impact on a community in need of hope.

Wayne will be remembered not only as a brilliant executive and Navy veteran, but as a man of deep integrity, quiet strength, and genuine kindness. He cared deeply for the people around him—his colleagues, partners, and community. His legacy is woven into the fabric of SHELLBACK and into the lives of all who had the privilege to work with him.

On behalf of the entire SHELLBACK team, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Wayne’s family and loved ones. We are committed to honoring his legacy by continuing the work he believed in so passionately—with the same drive, heart, and integrity he brought every single day.

Fair winds and following seas, Captain.
Your mission is complete. We have the watch now.
